Have you dated and been in a relationship with an NT and felt that they were not taking your compassion seriously?

Yeah. Some have even provoked me into having meltdowns just to 'get a reaction' from me. But I'm with another NT now and we get along fine (: he knows how I feel without me having to reassure him verbally over and over.

I see from my ASD friends having relationships with NTs and I can actually sense them putting their 100% in it. I mean. I think aspies (and I know me for sure) say they like you or love you they do many things to 'show' it instead. And when we dont get the same level of compassion, you start to almost think its one-sided.

Could you explain this a bit more? I think I agree with you and believe I'm the same way but I'm not exactly sure I understand what you're trying to say.
