Is it common fot people to, on okcupid, highly rate the profile of someone they know in real life, as a friend rather than as result of interest or attraction? A guy, I am crushing highly rated my profile after I visited his( I thought I had the invisible browsing feature on). Time passed, and I find out from someone, the two of us know, that he was mad at me for asking too many personal questions, and likes me as a friend,However, the source of the information has a crush on me. How likely is it that I misunderstood?

Why would someone rate you highly if they did not find you attractive?

Well, if crush was mad at me for asking personal questions. it could be a possibility.

To boot, according to source, my crush also said I called him, but there is no record on my phone of me calling him, even by mistake. So, the call could not have happened.

Maybe my crush thought that I checked out
his profile out of curiosity, rather than attraction. I personally would never highly rate an okcupid profile of someone I know in real life, but had no attraction for.

Source did quickly transition to, yet again, ask me to be his gf for the upteenth time, after tellingme crush likes me as a friend.

It's possible he said that to take your focus off him, especially if he likes you as much as he says he does.

But I think you're over analyzing the whole okcupid situation. If you really want to know if he likes you, ask him.

I only rate people 5 if I'd consider dating them.

He rated you high, then according to source he got mad at you for personal questions, then according to source he accuses you of calling him, then according to source he tells you you're just friendzoned, then the guy texts you for a drink date.

w er???! !

Either your crush is total psycho or the source is making stuff up for whatever reason.

That would be correct. Crush said the conversation did not happen and I believe him.I believed the source, as I was half asleep, he told me to ask my crush about it, and I had not told the source, at the time he made the allegations, about my feelings about the other guy. I am very embarased right now and am worried that I left a bad impression on my crush
