Ok. Thank you for the advice. I did not intend to hurt the 22 y o. I am not very experienced in being the one who does the rejecting and I did not want to lead him on or for hime to have false hopes.

Ok. Thank you for the advice. I did not intend to hurt the 22 y o. I am not very experienced in being the one who does the rejecting and I did not want to lead him on or for hime to have false hopes.
No problem.
I know you didn't mean to hurt his feelings and give him false hope but everyone has to go through some rain before they find their rainbow.
I don't think many here are experienced in rejecting others, in my opinion.
