Need advice regarding a crush I have

Last year, I met a guy on okcupid and somehow he invited me to come to this meetup, I had recently joined( I think he noticed that I was both on okay cupid and the meetup group) I did not for reasons I do not want to specify in case he regularly comes to this board. Nothing came of our online encounter just a few messages. Life went on. Fast forward a few months and I now go to the aforementioned meetup at least twice a month. I over time, have developed a bit if a crush on the guy. How do I tell if he could possibly be interested? I am bad at reading people. It would be very awkward if I showed my hand, deliberately, or accidentally, and he had no interest in me, especially, as he is the assistant organizer of the meetup.

Update: He visited my profile on okay cupid a while after I visited his and indicated that he liked me . I did likewise. So maybe my question is answered. Or maybe he meant it as a friend like. Either way, the ball is in his court.

Btw:he's an aspie like me.
