Alternatives to a bachelor party

DISCLAIMER: I am still single at presstime, and I am not getting married yet, but it doesn't hurt to plan ahead, even if it may seem way off. With that said......

Because my wedding will likely be coupled with a move to Los Angeles, I have decided NOT to have a bachelor party. Some of my ideas include: A pre-wedding meet-and-greet, a big farewell party for me upon my move to Los Angeles (from the Seattle area)........... are there any other ideas I can do? Because once I move to L.A., there is NO turning back for me.

my husband had a nice dinner with his brother the night before we got married, at least that's what he tells me.

For my brother, we actually went to supper, walked to a movie with a bunch of his friends (The Hangover!! !) and then just me and him and one friend went to the casino. There was a total of one drink between everyone and it was mine. He capped it off by wussing out. Instead of doing a $1000 bet on one blackjack hand, he went for a $500 bet.... and won. Obvious he had a get together (he is rich and highly extroverted) but certainly not a typical bachelor party especially since his friends were heavy drinkers.
