How to meet a girl: I need help!
Ok, so here's a question i had of any.
A) Where do you meet a girl?
B) At one of those places (and here's the thing i've had so many problems with) how do you talk to a girl without looking like a complete idiot?
C) What can you do to reap the ultimate reward, getting her number by the end of the night?
Great suggestions would be appreciated, i want to try to meet someone when i get some money...

I ponder this question a lot.
Most people on the Internet tell me: You need to go to a bar. You need to go to a bar. You need to go to a bar. [...]
My mom says: If you go to a bar you will get killed by drunks.
I am unsure what to do. I am also not actively involved in any social groups, because there are not any of my type of groups at my university or in town.
In my experience, bars are the WORST place to meet people. It's crowded, it's noisy, most of the people there are high on a judgement-imparing mind altering substance (alcohol) and to make things even worse, those looking to "hook up" are all testing each others social competance with a courtship game more bizarre than anything I've ever observed in the animal kingdom. I think a better idea would be to join an interest group focused on something you enjoy or fancy learning more about, and get to know some of the people (male and female) there. Everyone's more relaxed, in full control of themselves and the "ice" is already half broken- everyone there already has an interest in common and is there to pursue it.
Good luck, I hope you find someone!
If you meet a girl you like, (as someone said, it could be anywhere - I'd say groups which meet regularly offer the best chance, as you will see her more often) talk to her like you would to anyone else. Well, avoid spending long amounts of time on any one topic, just in case that topic bores her. At first, just say Hello. Maybe the next time, ask how she is. (Maybe the 3rd time - unless she reacts with a huge smile the 2nd time), ask what she thinks of the class you're both in, or whatever the group consists of. That type of thing is considered 'small talk'. Avoid controversial topics like politics or religion, etc.
Now here is a tip. When it comes time to ask for her number - do it in context of what you plan to do with it. Say something like "I'd like to call you sometime and maybe MEET for coffee". Something casual like that. Offer to meet her somewhere as opposed to picking her up in your car - for women that feels much 'safer' - a public place, in the middle of the day, casual atmosphere, no pressure. Don't make your first date a fancy dressup date like an expensive restaurant. Just my opinion there.
Second tip? If she hesitates (when you ask for her number), offer YOUR number. Don't wait by the phone - but this is a way that she may actually call you. Say (for instance): "give me a call sometime, if you want to hang out, or go to a movie". Or "If you ever wanna hang out, gimme a call". Or "I'd love to hang out, here's my number". Again, you stand a higher chance of seeing her one-on-one (even if it's in public!), if you keep the invitation low-key. (Avoid sexual come-ons or pickup lines.) And from there, if you hang out w/her, and if you two hit it off and have 'chemistry', then you can post here again asking what to do next because she seems to really like you.
Maybe that will help you. If your intentions are good, (not just use 'em and lose 'em) then good luck. ![]()

This is very good advice.
