Do you think my crush Asperger's? Long story, please help?
Can some here help me? I've been trying to figure this guy out for a while...I thought maybe he was just shy, but I think he may actually have Asperger's. But I honestly have no idea, maybe someone here can help? Here's the story, it's a bit long so bear with me:
He's very intelligent - he's a calculus major and a straight A student. I had a class with him and I started to see him in the halls on campus pretty often, and every time I saw him, he would stare at me. And it wasn't just a random stare. I've never seen him stare at anyone else either, so it seems to be me in particular. Sometimes I stared back at him, and he just held my gaze and then slowly looked away, eventually. Usually shy guys look away when they're caught, but not this guy. He also never smiled and neither did I; it was just staring. But he never approached me to talk to me so we've never even talked.
He's very athletic, he's one of the best swimmers at our college. so that sort of threw me off, because I heard that people with Asperger's were physically clumsy/not good at sports. My friend has briefly talked with him before and he thinks he has Asperger's syndrome. But maybe he's just shy and gets nervous? Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

Well you certainly can't rule out Aspergers... He could also be severely introverted. It's hard to say. Does this matter to you? Or are you just curious? It shouldn't make a difference at all. If he does have Aspergers, it made him the person he is.
