There are multiple definitions of it; some define it as a complete lack of interest in romantic relationships altogether, whereas other definitions allow for romantic, though non-sexual, interests.

I consider myself asexual (second definition) and was curious how many other asexual Aspies there were out there.

sex averse, but not asexual, though I identify as asexual for ease of explanation, but may actually be trauma/touch issue related.

Not asexual. In fact, I am the farthest thing from it--very hypersexual.

There are days where I am and days where I am not. It's mostly 50/50 for me.

I fit the second definition. I'm asexual but I know deep down I'm an affectionate person. It's just hard to find a person I feel comfortable enough to call a romantic partner. I have a "girl friend" but I don't know if it will ever go beyond being literally just that. I don't know how to get comfortable.

Most likely, I have a sexless life and am completely fine with it but I still would like companionship someday.

I once had a relationship with a woman who is asexual. For me love is more important than sex, although I am not asexual.

It would be nice and virtuous were I to have a romantic relationship without sex.

However, it would be fraught with difficulties from my end. It would create, in me, more of a desire to "show" her the "error of her ways."

Even though there are actually no "errors" in her "ways."

I'm very much "sapio-sexual" as well. I get wildly turned on by intelligence.
