I need some inspiring romance anecdotes

Guys and Gals I'm just really down on love. I had yet another date that's gone nowhere and I'm just despairing that I'll ever find some to love who'll love me as well. I'm trying to reach out to people, to find anyone, and I'm just terribly lonely and feeling unloved. I don't know if it'll ever change. I could use some inspiration. I need stories from those of you who have them who might've felt the way I did, but found somebody. I need to believe that there will be an end to the loneliness. It'd mean a lot to me, to read something good.

I had almost given up on finding someone, then I meet a woman who is autistic who I got on well with. The relationship became physical, we moved in together, we got married and we have a child. Neither of us knew we had AS or were autistic at the time we meet.

I am very happy with my aspie wife, she is happy with her aspie husband. We hope to live happily ever after.

Diagnosed under the DSM5 rules with autism spectrum disorder, under DSM4 psychologist said would have been AS (299.80) but I suspect that I am somewhere between 299.80 and 299.00 (Autism) under DSM4.

at age 52, i met a guy who obviously is a good writer at a course for work. i had dated about 100 guys before, many of whom i asked out. either i ended up not liking them or vice versa. anyway, i asked this guy at work out for a movie. thinking that too much of a commitment, he agreed to coffee. after a few months went by, i reminded him he had agreed to coffee. after coffee, he started doing the asking, right up until six months later asking me to marry him. we've been happily married for five years.
