I wonder why we don't have an option for leaving WP, other than deliberately having ourselves banned.

Most sensible people just leave, but I suppose sometimes you can be tempted back just to see what has been said and don't want that option... but then, you can re register to do that anyway. I suppose one has to have a little bit of patience when dealing with some of those younger persons with AS etc.
