My life has always been difficult because I just don't fit into the norms of society and I have Asperger's. With this being said. 1.5 months ago I posted an ad on the Mumbai, India Craigslist looking for someone there that could host me while I was in India on a mid-life crisis trip to go find myself. Oddly enough a woman replied and said she was looking for her life partner and wanted to be with a woman. I started talking to her and have fell in love with her. I don't know what to do. She lives in India where not only is same sex marriage not legal but same sex , sex is illegal to. I'm not ready for marriage but feel this deep need to somehow save her from the culture where woman who are single and childless by age 30 are outcast. Believe me I know how it feels to be an outcast. If she were with me we could be outcast together. Anyone have any advice to give me before I make my trip in February of next year?

I wouldn't make that kind of decision right now. The trip sounds like it could really help you figure some things out.
Be careful not to get suckered into being a drug mule. If she asks you to carry anything back, get away from her quick and quiet.

There are a number of other possibilities too.

Sorry to be cynical OP, simply some people who are in desperate situations may act deceptively. I'm not saying that is the case, but you should be wary.

Be very very concerned about your safety. Things on the internet are often not what they appear to be. Do you even know for sure you have been talking to a woman?

There's normal trust and then there's blind trust. If things don't look like they probably aren't and you should eject. Your in going to another country , India where the law is pretty crazy. You must be open to the possibility she may not be what she seems which doesn't mean she could also be an amazing person just Keep your eyes and stay open minded. con artists go after people who are easy prey.
