Talk about yourself for a bit
Hello.
My name is Michael, known to some as NINE(Q), I'm an undiagnosed AS turning twenty this July.
Currently I'm working on getting psychodiagnostic testing. I never really had much beyond the opening ADD diagnosis when I was very young which turned in to Manic Depression when I was about the age of six because, how I see it, were trying to rule it out. Of course this is all part of the process, I am quite sure if I was with one doctor the whole time, one who was competent eventually they would have diagnosed me as HFA/AS. However life interfered. I was abandoned at a relatively young age and put in an orphanage, from there tossed around place to place so I never really had much stability in my life. My grandmother attempted to take me under her wing here and there, it was just atrocious. We couldn't collate and she couldn't understand me from any angle at all; our relationship now is very distant but when contact arises short as it may be I've learned to react for a short amount of time anyways. I also have one brother, he's older and just as psychotic as I am haha. He probably fits the Antisocial psychopathic description very well. Its a love/hate thing sometimes to a dangerous extent between him and I. I've been in some not so great situations, for five years I was stuck in a rut of being on the streets and drug addictions, finally I'm starting to get out. So now I'm working on trying to get some help which is a huge step for me because I'm extremely independent and very egocentric. I believe in the power of self to an excruciating amount which I know logically is not healthy either.
I'm extremely introverted, don't trust easily either, though I'm not diagnosed with it I know I have PTSD. That aside, I've got quite a morbid sense of humor and tend to be very sarcastic and biting. I may have said this somewhere else but I'm very INTJ and very Type eight. I love abstract concepts and idea's, I'm contently thinking up idea's that may relate to another thing, how to pursue and build a perfected system to reach a goal or idea as useless and sometimes ridiculously complex as they may be. I love finding how things work, tearing apart the laws and bindings already set to find new ways to achieve things (because not once have I EVER done something the way I was suppose to). I love computer's though I haven't had much of a chance to tinker with them due to money restrictions and other life things as previously mentioned. I have an interest in infiltration tactics and war. I love music as well. My obsessions tend to go in cycles.
All in all, I'm starting to live you could say.
Thank you. Its of a man from possibly one of my all time favorite bands, he being the singer.. he's in three bands but one is more popular than the others. Although, FLOPPY is also getting popular. He's absolutely fascinating and I love him to bits haha, My roommate, a friend of hers, a few other people and I all believe he screams HFA/AS as well.
My obsession with him was what actually started my self discovery. I noticed a lot of things we have in common. He's one of the people/things I have to thank for pulling me out of my rut and surfacing a little allowing me to breathe a little again.
Hello, I'm Khaya, 18 years old.
I live in The Netherlands, have a Dutch mom and South-African dad. I'm a first year economics student and if everything goes correct I'll be getting my Bachelor within 3 years.
I'm obsessed with medieval history, astronomy and computers. Therefore my hobbies include playing, modifying and creating computer games, reading history, physics and astronomy books and articles on the internet.
I don't know for sure if I have Asperger's, but I do know for sure I'm autistic to a fair degree. All the criteria pretty much match except for the IQ. While I haven't had an official test I mostly score ~120 - ~130 in most of them, I don't know if Asperger's could already be canceled out because of this. I'm going to get diagnosed this week, though.

IQ means little in Autism. Almost no one here has an average IQ (100) most people here are at least above average and some of us are exceptionally intelligent.
Sorry about spelling errors - I'm just a horrid speller.

hello dar, my name is jeanne and i live in new orleans, louisiana. queen rocks my socks and i despise a lot of music that comes on 97.1 "We play all the hits not just some of them". hmm...what else....i don't find things gross or creepy. the things that people call gross, i call intriguing. last year i started drawing things to release stress that was caged inside of me. here's something i'm doing right now:
i also take pictures of life. that means that i'm not an advocate of setup pictures, meaning "Hey, look at the camera! great now make a funny face! that's great now let me get the camera and..." that's not how choose to take pictures.
so many things to say...can't think of anything else to say...hmm...

Hi. I am Kevin. I am 25 years old.
I just recently learned about AS and after reading about it and reading some posts here I now believe that I also have AS.
I have been dissatisfied with how some parts of my life have been going and looking for ways to tweak my behavior.
I have many hobbies, but my current ones are playing video games, Japanese films, and I am thinking of starting hiking.
Looking for some friends to talk with and do things, so if your in the Lake County, IL area give me a holler. Peace!
Howdio. I'm Sam from England; more specifically - Jackfield, next to Ironbridge lol. I'm 17 years of age.
General interests include: music and a lil bit of football.
I'm on the 'National Diploma' music course, which is hard as nails lol. 'tis for me anyways.
I'm a fan of Classic Rock and a bit of Metal mainly, as well as a few exceptions in other styles. Most notable for my taste in music are bands such as - Thin Lizzy, Ozzy Osbourne, Judas Priest, The Who...
Even though I'm a bit of a fan of football, I'm not really a fan of English teams as such lol. I like a bit of foreign football - teams such as Lyon and Werder Bremen.
An English team I do like however is Hull City.
Never been so great on the socialising side of things... although these days I'm getting a lot better at it.
That's about the gist of it... look forward to meeting y'all.
