Disturbing that they sell a child sex doll ..anywhere. Its not an adult looking love doll that's the height of a child (4ft7~4ft10) ...its a child looking and child sized sex doll.

As I saw taobao website these dolls are not for sex. They more like collectibles.

Japanese engineers have some prototypes - motorized, chatting, and have surface like real skin. So I think 5 years at max and we'll have first such robots in the stores.

Look, let's be honest here; if neurodiverse guys in the Western world have a snowball's chance in hell of getting laid or getting into a relationship, a neurodiverse Chinese guy doesn't even that. Virtual and/or robotic girlfriends/sisters might be a way to solve that problem.

I think robotic ai companions, is the future for humans, we are to hateful and anti social. with so many men ending up alone for their whole life. there's bound to be huge money to be made from making a companion ai. I'd buy one and treat it like any human. but It'd probably treat me better then most humans do.

The article calls it a child-sized love doll & love dolls is another word for sex doll. Even if it's not the whole idea of him adopting it seems pretty creepy to me.
