Help, I might lose the one I love

My name is Will I'm 17 years old and I have aspergers syndrome and I need help. There is/was the girl in my media class who's one year older than me and I love her, she pretty much is a female version of me, her future career maybe media related like my career will be. She is half white and half mexican and is a very nice person. She loves a God and is a Christian like me and we used to go to the same church, she is the first girl my age to ever treat me with respect, but there are problems. When either July or August comes around she will be leaving for Tennessee for college and one of my good friends (who knows her and is one of her best friends) says i'll never see her again since we both are on different paths when it comes to media and she'll most likley find a boyfirend and in this day and time find a husband, I went to my parents for advice and they said just forget about and move on from her, but the thing is I can't we have all thee things in common and I never had the balls to say I love you to her (because she dated someone from September to the end of November and I was to scared to talk to her. This is my last chance to date in high school and have a girlfriend because no other girls like me, even the nerdy girls don't want anything to do with me. If I don't get her I will lose her forever and I'll never find true love or find a girl with my interests. What should I do, I love her more than anything.

I can relate man. I'm turning 17 and in my final year of high school as well (but I think you are American so your final year begins in September this year or something right? And right now is end of 11th grade for you? Or something like that.

Anyway...I really do know the feeling.

I've really badly wanted to get a girlfriend in high school at least this year, my last year, because I felt like now is my time, that I am ready and that I want a relationship. But yeah.

There was this girl I had a crush on and I went on three 'dates' with her but she only wanted to be friends and she is a good friend now. But I feel like there is no other girl there are a few others I have had crushes on but I haven't had the chance to speak to either of them and I feel like one of them dislikes/hates me.

Anyway but having a crush on a girl a year older? Yes I had that too last year I was 11th grade liked a girl in the 12th. I never ended up getting anywhere though just way too shy to talk to her.

Alright to help you out I have a few questions.

1. How well do you know her? Even if she in your church group and your media class and has similar interests do you talk to her and that? Is she actually your friend or do you only know this stuff based on what she says in class? Because first things first if you've never said a word to her then now is the time.

And you still have time to talk to her and get to know her she might be going off to college July/August but if you can talk to her and get to know her better and make it clear you are very similar and share a lot of interests and try to get her phone number or email or facebook or something so you can keep in contact with her.

This isn't the end trust me.

That girl I had a crush on and went on three dates with, I liked her only 5 weeks before the school holiday's but after 3 weeks I went on my first 'date' with her, and then after 4 weeks the second, and on Sunday just before the last week of school we went on our third 'date' before she had to tell me she only wanted to be friends.

But I got to know her better, had fun, made a new friend and enjoyed the ride.

Anyway if I could do that in 5 weeks trust me man even if you only got like a month (4 weeks) you can at make it. Don't overthink things and don't stress just talk to her.
