When an Aspie guy is walking along a sidewalk and notices me a few feet away, turns his head to make eye contact with me while walking and doesn't break eye contact until he can't keep his head turned anymore... does that mean he's interested in me?

It's hard for me to make eye contact with anyone, especially while walking, so if I did that to someone it would be a big deal. Is it big deal for an aspie guy to do this? Does it mean anything at all or am I just reading too deeply into nothing?

At the very least, he's curious about you.

I don't so much have big trouble with making eye contact as I do with staring at people. If they make eye contact back at me a sort of deer-in-headlights stare-down can ensue. I've had people misinterpret my behavior as "interest" in the way I think you mean it. So I guess the short answer is: who knows?

The first time we met, he had difficulty looking at me/making eye contact and he was fidgeting/stimming a lot. I was in the same boat. He would have his body turned to the side slightly while we talked, while turning his head to shoot quick glances at me. Our eyes only met at the end of the conversation when we shook hands.

Now this time he has walked past me making intense eye contact without blinking or looking away. Does that mean he wants me to talk to him? Or is he just looking and nothing more? I'm so confused. I never make eye contact like that with anyone, but when it happened I felt like I was floating on thin air. It probably didn't mean that much to him.
