A question, would like to have people's thoughts, is it common for women to flirt with you when they are in an other relationship? Usually I only pick it up a day or two later after thinking it over, and it seems yucky. For background information, I am 32 and very overweight (thank you medication). The boyfriends are normal weight and I would say more attractive than me by a long shot. It seems like it is more older women (5-6 years older than me) that do it, all though I have had younger ones do it as well. Reason I am asking is I was walking out tonight at 9PM from my apartment building, going to the corner shop, and in this one door stood this guy's girlfriend, who greeted me in a soft squeaky voice, I said "hi good day", and then I heard her talking to the boyfriend, and I could have sworn he said something like "then don't greet him". I have had little social contact today and was a bit spaced out into my own thoughts, but that is what I first heard, and I think I heard correctly. Is this just like a ego boost thing for women, choose a guy who would not stand a chance with you and therefore will not reject you, get an ego boost and make boyfriend jealous at the same time? I have had similar encounters, before, but this one is tricky, you don't want to make bad neighbours.

I couldn't tell you about the girl's intentions (maybe she was just being friendly, maybe more), but it sounds like the boyfriend was a little insecure.
