Sex vs. love

What do you all think about the comparison? I really want the latter, but it seems it depends on chance so much... my only relationship was completely at random, whereas after a couple of years on dating sites, nothing... but I'd still like a physical intimacy... how inspiring to just look at beauty, too... I once paid for it just to witness it once more for an hour, but long-term and geographically that seems useless... so, should I wait for that chance encounter or seek these ephemeral bonds?

I believe a sincere regard for each other is the MINIMUM requirement for two people to make love.

If I don't have at least a respect for that other person, I lack the ability to "perform."

I think random sex partners are fine, as long as they know they're random.

Well, that's you. It's as possible to have sex without love as it is possible to have love without sex - while the two are compatible, they are not the same thing, nor are they dependent on each other.

Love- being attached to someone and wanting them like how you would be with your siblings or family or old friends, you usually have long deep history with them
Sex- lust mostly especially if it's a stranger or someone who doesn't share any deep history with you but I guess by time you might get attached to that person

Personally I find that I feel much more vulnerable in a dating scenario than I ever would with a "just sex" scenario.
