So it's my birthday today and even though I have received greetings and libations I still feel alone. My fwb who is renovating the house which he and his new girlfriend are moving into in September, and now seems to be my dealer and occasional sexual partner, is in a happy place. I should be in a happy place. I'm taking my medication and working and have a chance at a better job; but I'm still the freak I always was.
Trying sucks when you just stay who you are. Especially with dating. I just can't summon the interest in myself to tend to grooming and appearance. And this seems to be important.

I would say the past year was more successful than, probably, many other previous years.

I personally consider only basic grooming important, such as washing, combing and clothes. Anything extra would depend on the situation.

There's this guy at work who I like who is also a slob. But now our shifts don't align and I have no idea if or when I will see him.
