Alright, a bit of backround info on this, I've never had any interaction with any Aspie people in real life or the internet (until four days ago whenI found out about this site) Since I've been in therapy, I can tell people I'm AS and they'll say I'm lying until I lay down my medical records, (which I believe is about the same length as war and peace [shortened]) Anywho, I'm pretty sure some of the symptoms are not picking up social clues, not understanding body language, etc. But from what I've learned from NT women/girls is that they almost never respond to "Would you like to go out tonite?" or "Be my girlfriend?" and when they like you, they do it almost so unnoticably that even NT males get pissed cause they don't pick it up. So basicly not really a quiz when I second thought it, but can anyone tell me their thoughts on this? I mean I hate saying can aspie girls or young/women do when they like someone. I know what NT girls do. And it annoys me.

Hello,

I am not female first off.

Not trying to be derogoratory, I found your post hard to read and understnad. Your questions are not clear. I think you will get more answers if you do a little editing on your post.

good luck trying to figure out women

I think it might be your approach. Generally, people already have plans for "tonight", even if those plans include watching tv in their pajamas with their cat. I think NT girls often pretend to be busy when they're not, and aspies generally don't like surprises from strangers. Also, you have to at least have a conversation (which goes well) before you ask for a date. Otherwise it is creepy and wierd unless you're really suave and she's really gullible. And definitely don't ask someone you've just met to be your girlfriend at any point in time past 8th grade . . ..MAYBE 9th depending on your region. You might have better luck just getting to know people you find interesting, male and female, and relating to them as friends. It might turn into more, or they could give you some tips.

I'm a bit older and married, but if a guy approached me too directly when I was single, I'd pretty much always turn him down. (There were guys I would have made exceptions for, like Spike on BtVS., just not real live living guys.) Back then, I was thin and pretty, and I got hit on all the time, usually by guys who were pretty obviously looking at my boobs and didn't seem to have any interest in having an actual conversation with me.

What worked much better to get my attention was if a guy initiated a conversation about something I was interested in. Like if I was wearing an Einstuerzende Neubauten shirt and a guy asked me what was my favorite song on Haus der Luge, and what I thought the white stuff on the cover was supposed to be. The more obscure, the better. If I was reading a book and he had read it, big time bonus points. If I was drawing and he actually showed more interest in my art than my boobs, that was great.

If I liked a guy, I'd find reasons to talk to him or at least be near him, and I'd smile at him and make eye contact. Also, I'd be more likely to wear something that drew attention to my boobs or my legs, and I'd position myself to give him a good view. Guys like boobs, even smart guys. I just had to know they were smart before I wanted them to notice my boobs.

When I like someone I completley ignore them. Completley. That's why i'll never have a boyfriend.

If i'm really really into someone, I will probably obsess and try and talk to them too much.

If I like someone I tend to make rather clumsy efforts to be noticed by them, and if that fails, I will try direct communication...but in truth, I have only really fallen for one person beyond the net. I was creative though, lol, wrote poems, had lyrics printed on t-shirts, wrote letters...alas, all misunderstood.

I have a bad habit of getting obsessed but usually with those who I fancy but who will not give me the time of day.

I don't ignore you. (also it doesn't apply on the net, only in real life).
