Well, I just wanted to let everyone know that this ASD guy found someone and things have been working out great. Here is some info about that journey.

After many, many, failed attempts on OKC, POF, and here I stumbled upon someones profile while searching for someone with using a keyword of my special interest (anime). It was nerve wracking and really difficult but I reached out and communicated with this person and we hit it off. I even told them early on about my ASD diagnosis and they were completely cool with it since their brother has high functioning Autism too. Anyways, a few weeks go by and we are Skyping, textings, watching shows together and flirting here and there. We are also pretty blunt so we each shared how much we love each others company and have discussed visiting each other sometime in the near future. But yeah, everything has been working out well and now I've been thinking about how I can do something special for Valentines day for her. This presented a problem because I have very little money right now due to waiting on my federal retirement to be processed and for SS. So, what I came up with is to make a red heart out of construction paper with little pink hearts surrounding it. On the inside of the big red heart I decided to write, "You set my heart aflutter" and mail it to her. So yeah, that's my story. :D

Congratulations on your success!

It goes to show: Asperger's/Autism doesn't have to be a barrier to romantic happiness.

Maybe you should add some anime touches to your card, since you said that's how you met?
