Last year in high school I met a girl that I already had a crush on the previous year. We had lunch together often with a group of other people. I didn't talk much but sometimes she would ask me things. Two things I remember is one time she asked if I would come over to her house to smoke with her and another time she asked what it would be like if we were a couple. I gave awkward answers both times mostly because I didn't want the other people to know that I like her. Now I graduated but she is still in high school so I don't see her anymore. Right after I graduated I went to a restaurant with a mutual friend, and right after she wanted to go out to the beach, and invited the girl to come along. That was the last time I saw the girl, about 9 months ago. I just recently realized how much I like her and now I really want to get with her, so I had another mutual friend that is still at the school to try and ask her if she remembers me. So my friend asked, and told me the girl said she was really touched that I remember her and asked about her. I don't know how I should interpret that, but to me that makes me think that she likes me. Also I wonder what I should do now. Should I have my friend give her my number or ask for her number, and then should I invite her to do something or what.

I don't understand, how old is she if she's still a student in high school and you're 24?

Your profile says you're 24 years old, which means high school would have been several years ago for you.

I suggest meeting her in-person, talking to her, and asking her to coffee to catch-up on old times.

But she sounds too young for you, in all honesty. It would be creepy for you to meet her in-person.

The only way it would be acceptable is if she is now at least 18 and a senior, because then it's legal.

I just noticed I put the wrong year in for my birthday. Since I was a senior and she was a sophomore that only makes her around two years younger than me.
