Dear MS:
I love that you get so obsessed with your project that you leave me alone for hours so I can lose myself in my obsession.
I love that you don't have very many friends so I don't have to be friends with them either.
I love that you are shy, it's quite cute really.
I love that you have such a peaceful energy; it calms me down.
I love that you are shy about your body and not cocky about it.
I love that you've been reading the same book on science short stories for two months now, so that you can reread all your favorite parts - it's charming.
I love that you have a favorite activity that you can do whenever you want.
I love that you aren't into football or sports.
I love that you know how to juggle.
I love that you don't flirt with other women.

(This is written in part for those AS men who say they can't find a woman. Maybe you just haven't found one that appreciates your special qualities)

That's really nice Alyissa. Does MS know how lucky he is yet?

I doubt I'll ever meet a girl who'll appreciate me *hoping that the fact that when I make a statement like that it usually turns out wrong holds true but that probably jinxed it*

Truly lovely. That's quite the pick-me-up for the lonely aspie. :)
But I always remain hopeful that I will find somebody who appreciates me, I feel I am getting closer, no, I know it.

I can find a woman. Just can't find one of those. I like the poem.

Keep looking, boys! She's out there. Just have faith and keep developing your confidence. Then she'll find you!

Nice ode, A. :-)

Aylissa: :D

That makes me wish I could write anything which wasn't boring and technical. Female aspies deserve one too!

I should have added this but I was in a good mood when I wrote that:
I love that you don't give me too much s**t when I'm so depressed I can't function.

And Geek's response made me want to add another one:
I love that you don't mind if I don't give you a Valentine's day card

I'm the lucky one :)

I love that you wrote this!! It is exactly how I have always felt about my husband (even before he was diagnosed). I only hope my 2 sons (also Aspie) will find partners who feel this way!!
