I'm 26 and I still sometimes get high school girls flirting with me, but never girls my own age.
I wish I learned this one a decade ago: would have saved me years of hassles. Women might send a first message on a dating site, but they generally expect the man to take the lead from there. If you are waiting for a woman to make a move you will likely remain single. Sadly, the only women who made the first move on me were all seriously messed up in the head.
I thought I was a freak until all the married people I knew who found love at 25 started getting divorced one by one. I would say about 50% are divorced by 30. Many of my coworkers are either divorced or on their second marriages, which they started in their mid 30s.
For the record, I did not get my first relationship until almost 30 with a crazy, mentally unstable girl. It caused serious damage to the point I am still recovering from it.
