This always happens. There's a spark, some enjoyable moments, then a couple of hopeful weeks, that turn to a couple of anxious months, then nothing.

I can never really get a relationship off the ground.

I know it's frustrating.

It might not be a reflection on you; it might be that the person doesn't want commitment.

You should keep plugging away.

I wish I could offer more helpful advice.

But you can't give up.

I don't want to keep at this. Its making me feel miserable. I kind of wish this hadn't started in the first place. I wish things had just stayed the same. Now I feel worse than I did before.

Of course it might not be bad to take a break.

But don't lose hope totally...is what I'm really saying.

I don't think I could cope with that. I need hugs. You can hug a phone. ugh that sounds pathetic, but I want some one to go out places with. I like going for walks and visiting interesting places. I want some one to spend time with.

I'm not really even friends with him. Having a friend would be better than nothing :( I'm outside even the friend zone. I'm in the vague acquaintance zone.

Allow yourself time to heal before trying to jump into anything else. People can sense when you are sad or haven't gotten over someone. The best thing you could do is focus on yourself and treating yourself well. Not saying turn into a narcissist, but for some reason people become attracted to things they cannot attain or people with are slightly more into themselves than most. I don't know why- I think it's all part of the mating game that they play.

I've always found going bowling to be an excellent date.

You just go out there and bowl your game, and have fun. And you don't have to deal with the social niceties.

At my peak, I averaged maybe 130. My high game is 222, and I got 7 straight strikes in that game.

I used to really enjoy watching the Professional Bowlers Tour on TV.

Indeed. Though one can hug a pillow and I'm starting to think a ldr is better then no relationship and always being alone forever in this hell :(

You can't go places with a person on an ldr. I've been invited to a thing where I can bring a plus one. I can't take an ldr to that. An ldr would hurt more I think.
