He invited me and a bunch of other people via Facebook to a high school show he directed. (he's a teacher there and it was his first time directing solo) It was my first time seeing him in more than a year.
I really can't believe I had serious romantic interest in him for 8 years. We met when he was a senior and I was a sophomore in high school. He's a great guy who's very sweet, bubbly, intelligent, and loved by his students, but now that I've been over him for 5 years, I can see why my flames for him died. (It helps that there wasn't another lady who beat me in the race for his hand. I got over him when I realized I wasn't in his central core of friends.) He was much easier to get over than my second crush, which only lasted a little more than 2 years.
