Hi. How normal is it to threaten to kill your girlfriend?

A friend thinks it is very normal, and seems to thing that actually killing your girlfriend is not that unusual.... but I think it is quite weird.

Any advice would be appreciated as im really confused?

It's normal for dangerous and abnormal people to threaten to kill their partners, let's put it that way.

Tell his girlfriend so she can get help before he actually carries out what he told you. He should be turned into the police - it could be a real threat.

What did your girlfriend do that caused you to threaten her?

I, myself, don't think it's "normal." I think it's troubling.

Threatening to kill anyone is not ok! If you or the girlfriend are threatened by him you should really tell someone, maybe even the police.

thanks for the replies everyone. My friend did threaten to kill his girlfriend, yes. I threatened to kill my girlfriend and terrified her, but forced her to leave me shortly after even thought she wanted me back.
