A hipster, a terrorist casing Big Ben, and your average ego-driven shirtless selfie-poster walk into a bar...

Oh wait, it's not a joke...

A hipster person with lots of "cool" interests and an abstract taste in clothing is the new form of peacocking in my mind.

I don't see anything wrong in the two left profiles.

Btw, it's not me who did this experiment.

But jeez, look at the difference in the numbers of matches.

I have never heard the term "peacocking" before, but I know exactly what you're talking about.

Lol, it's because you're in Lebanon and it's Big Ben, and the racist Brexit vote and all...it all fits into a culturally inappropriate, yet timing appropriate, joke. Report if you must, but I won't get banned, not for this, I'm angling for the ban based on complaining about site maintenance-- management will get me before you do, lol.

The first profile was definitely meant to be a caricature of a "basic" hipster.
The middle one is meant to be a 20 something everyman and the latter is his version of an alpha on a dating site.

Fine, let's discuss the results intead.

Don't you find it funny that the shirtless-in-bathroom pic that a lot claim to hate got the most attention?

People say things and perform virtue signalling in order to win the approval of their peers, even if what they say is a lie. Whod've thunk

Women like shirtless pics, guys like cleavage shots.

Cardigans on blokes are just awful though. Awful!

I'd be interested to see how many still went for the bathroom pic if he was listed as Vegan in that one.

I find that the safest way in fashion is to always go mainstream.
