My ex-girlfriend has recently stated that she would get back together with me if I were to ask her out again. I have been accused of 'yo-yoing' on her in the past, and unsurprisingly I find the same confliction is occuring once again. Whilst I am attracted to her, I find her somewhat irritating (she always talks about the same things, asks me questions she already knows the answer to and she can be unintentionally rude) and it has only just dawned on me that we have absolutely nothing in common. Furthermore, neither of us can enjoy sex because we both suffer with high states of anxiety.

I guess I am worried that if I fail to ask her out, I will forever be alone as she's the only person who has ever shown any romantic interest in me.

Please excuse my appalling grammar. It's difficult for me to transfer my thoughts into words.
