Hey! I'm male, 28 years old and from the south east suburbs of Melbourne. Dark hair, dark eyes. I'm into music, politics, economics. I'm particurlarly interested in musical instruments and love their beautiful sound. As such I'm in the process of starting up my own musical instrument making and repair business. Currently working in cabinet making though. I've only been diagnosed with Asperger's earlier this year, so still learning and would love to meet other people on the spectrum. Would love to hear from some of you! Are there many people here from Australia?

Hi, Tallman.

I like your idea and in theory it would be nice, but I just wanted to inform you I've been here for a few years now, and there's just not many Australian users here, at least not enough to really meet anyone if you don't want a long-distance relationship.

The few I have seen here have been quite far apart, but I do know at least two Aussie members here who live in or near the Brisbane area.

I'm personally near Sunny Coast.

I'm 17, turning 18 and live near the Sunshine Coast, Australia.

I'm a calm and relaxed guy who can be quiet at first, but once I open up can be silly and playful. I'm an Ambivert, halfway between intro and extravert.

I'm an electronic music producer and my favorite kind to create and listen to is beautiful Uplifting Trance music that takes me far-away. :)

In my spare time I'll usually be working on my music at home, going for peaceful bike rides or walks to clear my mind, hanging out with friends chilling or doing whatever, and playing video games.

I love getting out to nature, especially the beaches with family or friends, but rainforest's and waterfall areas are definitely a pleasure to visit as well. For this reason I support and donate to various environmental causes.

I can be quite sporty and a health and fitness fanatic at times, and for this reason I want to study Nutrition at Uni do to what I can to help others live a healthier lifestyle.

At the moment however I'm just looking for work. I currently try to volunteer at various places.

I love talking about anything and everything, am open and honest, love different perspectives, and can't wait to chat to new and interesting people. :)

Thanks for replying, Outrider.

That's a shame, it would be good to meet people in Australia. Who knows, maybe some more people in Australia may start appearing.

Hi Tallman!

There used to be a Melbourne aspie meetup group and it was quite successful for a few months, then died off. It wasn't specifically for singles but still a good way to meet other aspies anyway. If you want to try to get it up and running again, here's the link:

I had a few attempts, as you will be able to see in there, but with no luck at the time. The numbers are there, just not the organisation.

I'm not sure what Outrider is talking about.
I've come across lots of Aussies here.
Most are single.
You won't find them hanging out in Love and Dating though.
Because we're not bloody desperate, mate

Raleigh: We are probably one of the larger minorities, but we're still probably only about 5% of active users. All I see is US, Great Britain, and other parts of Europe. That or some don't reveal their country so there's no way knowing unless they say so.

Xile: Yes, Retro gamer is.

I'm 28 going on 17. I'm the same height as Ashton Kutcher and much like his character in Two and a Half Men I work in infotech for a Fortune 500 company. I have blue eyes and I'm not very good at thinking of ways to describe myself.I live by my lonesome in an apartment on the fifth floor in Mawson Lakes. My hobbies include kung fu, table tennis, Super Nintendo, being weird, buying lots and lots of gadgets and sitting on my balcony staring into space.
