I read and reply (last one) this topic and I think that its stopped on crucial part. Its like, we still need to talk and flirt, so the problem of aspergers stills to resolve, right?

Has anyone ever had success? And how? I believe it isn't like "oh, btw, I have asperger...".

My Aspie partner and I have been together for almost 12 years and met on an online site that doesn't even exist anymore.

He answered an ad that I had totally forgot was even up. I had mentioned on my ad that I was currently re-reading The Two Towers in anticipation of the movie coming out and that's how we got started talking.

He did not mention to me that he was an Aspie, and to be honest, I didn't even know what that was at the time. I only noticed that he was sort of a nerd, but so was I, so it did not bother me.

It worked for us because we're both socially inefficient. He's an Aspie and I'm just very introverted and nerdy. It may not have worked otherwise.

Thanks for your reply.

Maybe my problem is I only have NT friends. I already tried Tinder once, got a date, but I'm not sure if she didn't like me or just prefered to wait to see more.

Or maybe my problem is bigger than average.
