The ones in their 20's and 30's need financial/emotional support but the day will come they make enough for two.

They usually try to stay fit.

And best of all they might understand us better than most!

Hardly, I suspected there would be, and indeed found lines such as this from female doctors desperate for a mate:-

"Some of my friends have the notion that they would only stick with a guy that makes a good bit more than them. However, I am more than open to dating a guy that makes less than me as long as he and I were around the same economic class if that makes sense".

and :-

"I am kind of confused too because of the guys that did settle down one of them who is making 180k something married a public school teacher in her 20s. Now I am just trying to understand here, aren't men wary of gold diggers so wouldn't it be best to date someone that makes close to what you make? I get the whole macho must be the provider of the family but why would a guy date someone with such a huge income dispairty?"

I wish more Women would embrace feminism and gender equality so that more of them would be like men, choosing a partner because they find them attractive and love them rather than their economic status which the above doctor couldn't even comprehend about her male colleagues.

I once volunteered to help out some local Medical Lab students by offering my arms so they could practice putting in the needle and drawing blood. It was surreal: the group (90% female) loved me and a few seemed to be instantly attracted to me. Ol' oblivious me did not realize at the time they were being more than just friendly but my point still stands: they actually liked my weird personality. I think an Aspie guy would do great in that environment!

For a while there I thought there was no way there could be any truth to this but I guess it makes sense. I'm an absolute enigma and I love to ponder medicine & physiology. Also I grew up in labs...

Could OP really have found a bullseye?

Not for me. I'm an Aspie who loves providing emotional support for my partner & is clingy & needy within a relationship. I think doctors would be too independent for me.

All I seem to need right now is this laptop & pint glass...

Maybe for rich middle class aspies.

Being middle class rarely if ever means being rich. Fair warning, socioeconomic class is an outmoded way of viewing anybody, yourself included sly. Two of the richest-born guys I've known in my entire life live these days in ordinary apartments, drive used cars and work normal jobs. OP is saying female medical pros are good matches for aspies because they're generally accustomed to viewing the substantial qualities of others.
