Funny club rules

Listening to the radio today, I heard the hosts talking about a club (I didn't catch the name) where rules for gentlemen were as follows:

1) Gentlemen were not allowed to approach ladies.

2) If a lady approaches a gentleman, the gentleman must speak to the lady as they would speak to their mother. (This followed with some amusing discussion on how men usually speak to their mothers)

What do you think of these rules?

Rule 1 is fun.

Rule 2 sounds stupid; what do they mean by it?

^ it means they must speak respectfully, with no sexual connotations.

Apparently, it's become very popular with ladies, and because the balance of power has shifted, so to speak, and they can be assured of respectful conversation, more women are approaching men at this club.
This also makes it very popular with the men.

What if they all approach only the few hottest guys? :lol:
Does it have to be one to one conversations only?

It would be an interesting observation.

I don't know the rules on hot guy female flocking, unfortunately.
It's certainly an interesting concept though.

Great in theory, but unfortunately one of the Unwritten Rules is that the female must never, ever initiate contact. Especially with aspies, because we're considered defective.

If I were to talk to a lady in the same way I actually talk to my mother as stated in Rule #2, chances are I'd be labeled a douche instead of a gentleman. And that's the last thing I want.

:oops: This looks GREAT - only one small hiccup; at least half of what rule 2 permits me to discuss centers on cancer research. While I occasionally have normal mom conversations, more often than not it's all science.

Well, if we apply this rule literally it wouldn't work so well

Example:
Girl in club: Hello, so how are you feeling today?
Guy (talking to mom mode): I am not feeling well mo...I mean Sandra, I am kinda sad today, and I don't know why. And my balls are hurting. :oops:
