My love life is so nonexistent that I don't even date. Whenever I ask out any girl who I think I might click with, I get told "My boyfriend wouldn't like that.", "I am married.", or "I am too busy." despite how it seems like every other guy does so and it works for them. The year is almost over and I have no success story to show for my struggles.

Don’t get discouraged, at least you have the guts to try. Due to my life situation and how far I am behind most people in life, I haven’t had a date since I was 26. I’m 32 now and have given up. Before that one at 26, previous was 20. Keep on trying, don’t be me.

I've never been on a date, and I never will do dating. It's just completely unnatural and when it succeeds, people are left with a shallow attachment that easily breaks.

Koufax was sent back to the minors a lot because he was very wild.
Maybe a little like Nolan Ryan. Ryan was quite wild and sometimes ineffective as a young pitcher. I remember Ryan with the Mets. He was only a spot starter, and was seen as somebody with potential who needed a lot of work on things. When he was traded to the Angels, everything came together for him. He still walked many people, though--so he wasn't perfect.
