How do I let him know I like him? (both aspies!)

To get straight to it, there is a guy I have known for around four/five months at university. I like-like him (a lot) and want to tell him, mainly because I think it would be disingenuous to continue socializing (2/3 times a week at the moment) without letting him know. I do think- and several friends agree- that the signs are there that the like-liking is reciprocated, but my main issue is 1) how do I let him know? and 2) should I tell him/ is it worth it?

I have Asperger's (pretty high functioning, but it shows itself in stressful or emotional situations), and so does he (more severe, but still high-functioning). In addition, I will be moving away next year, so I won't be seeing him as much as I do now (although I don't see this as a factor determining whether or not I should tell him). You may think that both of us being aspies would make the situation less stressful-- you would be wrong

I would tell him that you "like-like" him.

I would also tell him that you hope you keep in touch after you move.

You folks can take it slow. You don't have to "jump into the sack" right away. You don't have to do anything you don't feel like doing.

This is so romantic! I hope you tell him, and I hope he likes it, too.

Sit down with him in a quiet spot, tell him you have something to share and that you do not require a response at this moment - just say it directly.

I am curious, do you initiate contact with him sometimes?

It is the surest non-verbal sign that the woman likes the man.

Next time you see him, RUN right up to him IMMEDIATELY, GRAB him into your arms, squeeze him and kiss him. Basically, just be honest with communicating your feelings, for many people hide their true feelings, true emotions, for whatever reason, probably due to something related to embarrassment. Sure, some people do not express their true selves due to a fear of rejection, but relationships do not «spark» without expression.

If your both Aspies you may have to take the direct approach & tell him you like him cuz hints & signals may not work.
