Yes, these rules are the culprits which keep many aspies from finding love.

So far I've managed to collect 16 of the Unwritten Rules. Which ones have you heard?

Date a girl who likes you for being you, and most of all can work with your flaws. If you change for a girl and marry her or even after a while of dating, she starts to pick up on things that are not true. Love at first sight is dumb. Love at first sight to a women for a guy, when the guy is trying too hard, looks like one of those Scams online telling you you won a million dollars.

Biggest advice I can give is that the only way to impress a girl is being genuine. Girls like guys who are genuine, and they prefer guys that they have talked to and spoken to many times, and in a fun nice way. Not a mind reader. Girls do not like guys who try to be mind readers......

I don't know what 'the unwritten rules' are, but, I whole-heartedly agree with almost everything that ZachGoodwin^ has stated. Additionally, I personally, find any sort of flattery or anything remotely resembling objectification, an immediate turn-off (generally speaking), as I am not interested in getting to know a person for reasons related to physical appearance, and, what draws me to a person is their mind and heart. I should say, however, that I haven't actually dated in the true sense of what I understand 'dating' to be, or consist of. I have been in Love twice, in my lifetime, and I am 50 y/o. One experience evolved from a long-term friendship, and the other was a long distance/online friendship/relationship. I'm not sure I have any interest in traditional dating, per se, although, I would like to share my life with someone, and if it entails falling in love, along the way, then, that would be wonderful. I am off topic, now, though. Sorry about that.

None. Would you care to tell us the 16 unwritten rules that you've collected?
