In nightclubs/bars sometimes in the past women would dance more flirtatiously with other men. Whereas when they tried to dance with me it was more like 'I see you as my kid brother saught of thing'. Sometimes I am guessing this could happen if the girl knows I have aspergers for example

Why do you think this is? I am 5ft7/baby faced in apparance and I understand it might be easier for guys 6ft and over to get a hook up on a night out.

You are almost 6 feet tall, that is not short in any way shape or form.

Are you sure these girls think of you as their 'kid brother' or are you projecting your fears that is what they must think onto the situation. Maybe next time a girl comes up and dances with you, you should offer to buy her a drink or something and if she accepts then you can talk to her.

I mean it sounds like you're just really un-confident in yourself and assume the worst in regards to what people think of you. Also though think about this, why is a single woman going to seek out a guy she sees as her kid brother to dance with at a club setting? That doesn't make sense...chances are they find you a bit attractive or are just having such a great time they want to dance with everyone.

Also, you might seem more introverted than the other guys they dance with...so perhaps what you think is them seeing you as a little kid brother is actually them trying to make a first move and initiate because you seem hesitant or nervous. And hell even if some of them do see you like their kid brother, why not enjoy the attention? Try and make some friends....I see my male friends as younger brothers in a way, its certainly not an insulting thing.

At the bar I see women get close to other guys such as sitting on there lap/knee or kissing them. In past situations when going out maybe now and again if a woman likes me she will chat me up smile, touch my arm and be nice but it would never lead to anything truly physical like cuddling or kissing etc..... :?

It's 5 inches short of being 6 foot, and it's two inches shorter than the average male height in the UK.

5' 7" is 3 inches short of 6 foot and most males in the UK are 5' 9"? even so 3 inches short of that hardly seems short. I am 4' 11" that is at least a foot shorter than most people aside from kids here I am short. Just annoying when people who are literally a few inches shorter than usual go on about how short they are...try being a foot or more below the typical height and have stores become obstacle courses because you're way below peoples eye level so you constantly have to move out of the way to avoid getting run into. And then of course it is always fun when you want something off the top shelf of the store..you either have to get help or climb part way up the shelf to get it. Just seems like tall people complaining about being short...

There are 12 inches in a foot.

It's different from women, though, they are allowed to be "shallow" and place high importance on physical attributes and height is a common one for women. It's socially acceptable for women to reject men based on their height but not acceptable for a man to reject a woman on any physical attribute. It's just one of those things. Height is more important for women who are closer to the average height as women tend to want men that are taller than them (visibly taller) so the shorter you are the more women will reject you based purely on that. Of course if a man dared say a woman was too fat for him, had too small breasts etc he would be vilified.

These days the average height for a UK male is 5'10 making me 3 inches under average.

Also why would a man be vilified for rejecting a fat woman and yet no issues of a woman rejects a short man?
