So I've always been attracted to plus size girls. Not morbidly obese; but plump and bottom heavy. Is this common with aspergers or is it a separate thing? I didn't inherit it; my father is into skinny women and my mother is quite skinny. I did read somewhere about a study that showed men are typically drawn to chunkier girls when under stress... which is pretty much what aspergers is... a constant state of stress and anxiety. Are any of you guys out there into bigger girls?

Oh, I love plus-size ladies, alright. Way more beautiful than those near-anorectic ones as far as I'm concerned.

I do love me some curves. Yes, I do! I've dated big girls before and I'm not ashamed of it.

Now, the negatives...

By no means does this apply to ALL women, just speaking from MY experience. Most large women I've gotten to know have rotten attitudes. For some, it's because they are just flat lazy, which spills over into a sedentary lifestyle and, hence, a little extra bulk around the waist. For others, it's some insecurity they compensate for with food. And then there are the ones that are just horrible people all the way around.

Again, this isn't all bbw. I've met ONE who was awesome and made me wish I'd made more of an effort to ask her out (story of my life, I always turn 'em down when I'm hung up on the latest disaster of the month--and that one turned out to be the disaster of the DECADE. lol). But I've seen this so many times that I avoid them. Not because they're unattractive, but because for me it's just such an incredibly predictable pattern with those women. I COULD be convinced otherwise, but, ugh... A big girl with nothing else to offer is nothing but a supermassive black hole of depression.

I doubt your preference is related to aspergers.

I like slim women. Slightly visible abs is really sexy imo.

I am plus sized. I'm very happy with how I look. I've been doing a modified whole 30 diet for nearly three or four months. I don't eat junk. If you ask me, McDonald's, Burger King, KFC etc... are super gross. I love to exercise too.

Here I am

Awesome! See, this is what I'm talking about--a self-secure, very pleasant, cool person. And if you feel the need for self-improvement, you do something about it.

It's really not about looks, as in plus-sized makes you a bad person. I've just been burned so much that I can't get away from those negative associations.

I totally get where you're coming from, AngelRho. I'm torn between my sexual attraction to big girls and our incompatible lifestyles. I'm very passionate about healthful eating, exercise... I love to hike and I hate sitting around doing nothing. This whole 'healthy at any size' thing is completely absurd. Most fat women are fat due to laziness and poor dietary choices. So if I date a big girl I'll be sexually satisfied but I'll be so dissatisfied with many other aspects of our relationship. If I date a fit girl we would have more compatible lifestyles but I don't know if I'd be satiated sexually.

The NT solution is to be a lone lothario and just hook up with big girls when I'm feeling concupiscent. But I lack the social skills to just seduce women left and right; and I'm attractive so girls at bars take one look at me and their 'f**k-boy' radar goes off like crazy.

I'd like to find someone who's thick and curvy yet able to keep up with me in the mountains... but I'm exhausted with socializing and finding such a gem would be quite a task.

I do agree that health at every size is nonsense in some cases. I enjoy walking outside, yoga, jogging and I don't get tired while doing so because I have so much energy.

I won't tell you guys my exact weight but the top I'm wearing in my picture above is a 3x and my jeans are a size 20.

As long as you feel healthy----that's all that counts.

I've been attracted to "plus-sized" women before. I don't like extremely thin women. I like the "Victorian ideal"--which is curvy and maybe even a little overweight.

When I was overweight, I did not eat an unhealthy diet, and while I was losing the weight, I was active.

Chronos, most people eat an unhealthy diet and don't even realize it. Nutrition and health sciences has been my obsessive interest for the better part of a decade now :)

And I am also educated on health and nutrition. If you have basis to assume otherwise, please state it. My diet was "clean" by most standards. I gained the weight due to health issues.

Losing weight is simple. Calorie deficit. You can lose weight just by laying around the house all day. Just means you can't eat anything.

Likewise, you can lose weight eating a chocolate bar every day. It just means you eat nothing else and you stay active.

Chronos I meant no disrespect. It sometimes still feels like it did five years ago before such information was so readily available. I had to dig deep to find what I was looking for... read many books. Were you eating a whole foods plant based diet when you had a weight problem? Because if that's not the case; I'd understand why you did. I was overweight for most of my life until I gave up animal products.

Calorie deficits are a short term solution but your metabolism will eventually catch up with you and result in a binge.
