you know how some autistics have a look or characteristics of being an aspie? I wonder if that could be someone's turn-on or type?

Probably. People I've dated in the past have often commented on certain aspects about me that they've enjoyed (or for some things.. disliked).

The most common comment would be my "focus", many of my partners have said they like the way I get intensely drawn into deep thought; mainly because they liked my concentration face lol. But also because the way I'd think things out sorta like growing a conceptual tree of thought, and the people probing my mind see how the tree spans out in different directions. I'm a very visual thinker so often I'll try to communicate my thoughts by waving my hands around the visualization.

That and the consistency, either with lifestyle, process, or language. This has caused some conflicts thou, mainly with miscommunication because I have a very clear intention associated with certain phrases and words that the other person must learn before we can converse in that manner.

On the flip side, I've been attracted to people with "aspie characteristics" before knowing where they stood on the spectrum; only to realize they were on the spectrum after the fact. One must wonder what are these "aspie characteristics" and how are they demonstrated or communicated, furthermore how are they interpreted? And to add another dimension, how are these characteristics processed and understood between aspies and NTs? Then using this information one could construct a protocol for communicating certain aspects according to how they wish to be understood.. either way yea "aspie" is probs a type just like someone could make a type for just about any characteristic they may find in any arbitrary entity that one desires.

I would guess an Aspie "type" who could very well be attractive for girls is the guy with the glasses on Big Bang Theory.

I doubt that the "Sheldon" type appeals to many women.
