Hello, I just want to say to anybody on here to wants a girlfriend or is upset because they have a girlfriend or boyfriend.

Don't be upset. I am 25 and from the UK, I have dyspraxcia. I used to be really upset that I didn't have a girlfriend, I used to compare myself with other people, that is not the right thing to do. You have to focus on your self.

I am at college, I am doing well with my studies, I have nice friends and even got a birthday cake today from one of my class mates, Am I still single, Yes but I would much rather have what I have now then be with someone who is not the right person for me. :D :D :D

I was pretty upset about not having a girlfriend when I was single but I was NOT comparing myself to my peers. I was lonely & wanted someone to share my life with. I had none or very few friends.

But surely there was a way you could have found friends. Did you work, did you go to groups. Go to college?

I went to a support group for depression, anxiety & bipolar for a while but I didn't really make friends with anyone. I worked a couple years but only made a couple friends & one blew me off 1ce he quit working there. I had NO desire at all to go to college cuz I s#cked in skewl due to learning disabilities.

I've been living with my current girlfriend for 5 & a half years now. I met her on this forum. She sent me a PM after reading lots of my posts. I haven't made any friends here but I haven't really tried. I still have one friend in Louisiana but I only see him about 1ce a year now since I moved.

Thanx :D
I don't want kids but she kind of does. She knows she'd have a hard time with it rite now cuz of various mental & physical issues.
I'm from Louisiana & moved to Vermont to be with Cass. I felt trapped living with my parents so I was very willing to relocate.

Vermont has its virtues, Louisiana has its virtues.

I think, all in all (except for some winters), I'd rather live in Vermont.

Are you near the Burlington area, Nick?

I think comparing yourself a little bit is ok but if you compare yourself lots and are depressed about it thats when it gets bad. Focusing on yourself is the most important

She has a Section 8 housing voucher so it mostly just cost me to travel back & forth & to ship my stuff up here.

That is true.
The winters are my least favorite thing about living here other than lack of good seafood.
Yep I am thou we may move to Middlebury when the lease runs out in half a year. It'll be closer to Cass's family.
