Can you tell if you’re staring at someone?

I try casual glances towards people I find attractive, but I’m unsure of how subtle I’m actually being. Girls I’m cool with looking and trying to establish eye contact. Guys I’m more nervous around since he might take it the wrong way.

Can you tell?

I was accused of staring at people a lot as a kid & I wasn't even paying attention to them. I just had my head in that direction while daydreaming or something.

Same. I have to be on-guard for it. If I get caught on a thought, I won't even be aware of where my head's pointing, and that's really got me in trouble before. I space out, and when I do, I'm staring.

I've had alot of issues with that same thing and still have issues currently. I don't know where to draw the line between starring or glancing. I want the female to know I find her attractive but I don't want her to be creeped out if she doesn't feel that way.....such a difficult thing to live with but oh well, I just have to compensate somehow for it.
