My love live only makes a grain of sense to anyone else when I'm not around to complicate it more. Becoming less familiar is the only way of giving anyone enough space & time to figure me out anyway. I'm hoping my scarcity when I'm told to be scarce underscores the intensity of all this. I live too far outside 'surface-level' society. People I love only get a chance to make sense of what I've been saying years later.

I'm not really here looking for any sympathy, just wondering if anybody identifies with this.

Offline, when people bring up love life I have nothing much to say. Excluding my ex wife. Most of my life, its been nonexistent. I'm not sure anyone has ever cared to understand me, no one asks so I assume they don't care.

Just calm down and good bye. We'll be here once you want to get back.

Well the strange thing about this state of mind is that I could hardly be any more calm. I want to get back to a humanizing part of reality ASAP but I basically live in the future. I'm too caught up in engineering to have any clue socially. Spending time in the present moment with anyone who actually gets me is not easily arranged.

I'm going to honestly try to simplify all this so I'm not completely isolated but there's definitely no guidebook.

I'm getting the same impression on here no less, as soon as there's a new thread about misogynistic idiots from 4chan, I'm just not as exciting as those murderous twerps.

There are plenty of those "misogynistic idiots" right here on WP ... haven't you noticed?

I wouldn't say that's nearly as much of a problem here as the internet at large. I would rather reserve this forum for discussions of real life & put that stuff in politics or current events.

We have threads here about reality & we have threads about madness. I like reality more but as I said in my OP, I must process all that madness in some way that's conducive to staying in touch with people.

I try not to take it personally. Most people are fairly self centered and caught up with life and don't put aside a lot of time for the truly important things in life. The truly fantastic thing about living is not knowing what the future will bring. It may be terrible, but it could also be the most amazing thing that you never would have expected out of life. Knowing your worth is enough cberg, hopefully at some point someone takes enough time to truly know and appreciate you.
