How do you know if a guy really like you & very interesting in you?

Look for signs that he's thinking about you when you're not actually together.

For example, not-too-interested guy might stop on the way to a date and pick up generic flowers, while interested guy will remember that you said you go to a weekly board game night, and spend some time finding you really nice metal coins to use with the games, or a set of dice in your favorite color, etc.

They want to spend time with you and even if they're busy they will make time.

If they're not interested they will use any excuse they can to not hang out. Always look at their actions.
I once dated a guy who claimed I was the one etc. but would use any excuse he could to avoid me in person. He was only interested in having a relationship to show off, not actually put in any effort.

So never trust the words unless their actions match them.

Sometimes...

He wants to talk to you, but he stumbles over his words, and may over-explain what he is trying to say to you. In fact, he may seem to become more physically clumsy than usual in your presence.

If someone is interested in you and really likes you, they will express interest in your life; your interests, desires, and aspirations. They will be interested in your thoughts, opinions, preferences, and values. They will respect you and the boundaries you set and the choices you make, and treat you with the courtesy and consideration which you deserve.

If it's all about them, move on. Don't waste your time. You're better off alone than in the company of a fool.

You probably never really had him. Beware the illusion of togetherness that social media and dating apps can give you. It feels good in the moment, but it is not real.

It just might not be "you," Kitty.

It could be the guy is afraid of commitment.

It could be anything, really.

I think a lot of people on those apps aren't really seriously looking. You kinda have to sort through all the riff raff to find the real people. It's definitely possible though.

This how you met your husband.

That's true. But here are some differences. (1) I had been doing online dating quite a while before I met my husband; in other words, I had to kiss a lot of frogs, before I found my prince. You, on the other hand, are relatively new to the scene. (2) Based on my experience, I made a point of moving to meeting a person relatively soon, since I didn't want to continue wasting my time on chatting. I won't say it was love at first sight with my husband, but I definitely knew by the end of that first date that I wanted to see more of him.

To do dating at all, you have to be strong enough to get your feelings hurt now and then.

Oh! I did not realize that. Have you had any good dates in all that time?

this.

When they cease to do that don't follow them or wait for them because they no longer care and you'd be wasting your time!
