After marrying an introvert, I can surely say:
- full understanding for your need for time alone;
- quiet home;
- as I am an introvert myself - compatibile preferences about spending our free time.

I'm not very good on the "dating" thing but I suspect it's all about having good time together. Do you enjoy quiet evenings with a board game or something like that?

All of the introverts I know don't just skip social time to sit at home doing nothing. They take that time and fill it with things they love, like making crafts or researching things they enjoy or engaging with media and other art in exciting ways. For me, coming home to my introvert to hear about the things she's learned and done today and seeing her face light up with them brings a lot of joy into my life. Also because I know that the high energy cost of interacting with people means she's careful about how and when she does it, the fact that she does make time for me is a reminder of the strength, reliability, and trust that she puts in our relationship, which is very comforting to me.

Well, I’m an introvert so I was naturally drawn to an introvert. We are similar personalities and compliment each other well (I’m an INTJ & he’s an INFJ). We both thrive on a lot of alone time. We are also both in agreement on how much social situations suck. He doesn’t care to even ask me to attend work functions as he himself has refuses to go. Our nights consist mostly of reading, video games, and Netflix. We’ll have the occasional deep conversation about how the universe came to be or something but otherwise, we just sit near one another in silence.
