What does it mean exactly if someone does not like you in a romantic way?

It means exactly that, that they are not romantically interested/don't want a romantic relationship with the person.

I think it has a lot to do with communication skills and knowing how to make the other person feel that there is a special connection. It also often is related to physical attraction.

How did you realize that the other person is not into you in a romantic way? That person told you that directly or you just guessed? If you are told such directly, then it is what it means :ncool:
