If someone says “I used too really fancy you”..........is that one of the most soul crushing things someone can say too you in your opinion?

You would be kicking yourself if you still fancied them.

Trains leave fast on the underground, here's one of mine.

- You know, the more more I think about it, the more I think we should have something together.

-Hmm, sorry?

- Oh, err, nothing.

I guess at some point they probably make a hint that we don't pick up on.

Good luck working it all out, I never did but I'm not really cut out for it.

It ranks alongside "I never did really love you".

I think that's better than "I never would have even considered you in that way".

I said a terrible thing once which I never ever intended it in the way it was taken, as when I wrote it it meant something entirely different to how most people would read it and the way they read it... It was the complete opposite to what I intended the message to say. :( And when I sent it there was nothing I could do.

I think that's usually said out of spite and (usually) isn't true.

I've heard that phrase said a bit in TV shows when girls meet up with guys they knew when they were in skewl & they had both moved on with their lives since then. I've also heard girls say it when they meet up with teachers or professors they had when they were in skewl. I think that phrase is meant as a compliment in those situations.

I think the worst thing I heard was something like "We're breaking up". Another really bad one is when I make a move on a girl & I hear "Your asking me out? I thought you were gay" & then things are very awkward & she's not interested in me.
