I find I've only ever rarely been attracted to men in my own age bracket.
They are always older, but it doesn't feel to me like they are that much older.
Man I really like and have been out with recently is ten years older and it REALLY doesn't feel like it at all. He also an aspie.
My ex was 15 years older...
Essentially I haven't dated anybody close to my own age since I was a teenager.
I think it is about mental age and other levels of attraction at play. I don't see there being anything wrong with your attraction to younger men - they are adults and not at all close to being teenagers, early 30's is okay.
Some men at that age really like older women close to your age - some find it exciting to be with an older, independant, experienced woman. I think experiences come into play sometimes, like they might have had a crush on a friend's mother or their teacher instead of girls at school when they were younger and experiencing their sexual awakening.
Thanks, I was embarrassed. You were right, it is my mental age, I’m nowhere near my late 40s, I’m going to be 50 in August. I find some guys who are 30 & 31 on OkCupid that like me, some of them wanted to talk to me, I’m not attraction to alot of men those ages, I had some men that were 28 & 29, but I wasn’t interested in them.
