Yeah, if online dating didn't work then that's probably not going to work either. He's basically asking strangers on the internet to suggest dates to him. How would they know him well enough to do that?

I could understand him using the money to try & get a girlfriend if he was very lonely/desperate & incapable of getting most any woman to go out with him like me & some of the other guys who post a lot in this section but this doesn't sound like it's the case at all. Said he's wanting a connection but that seems very idealistic to me. An instant connection is very nice for initial attraction but it takes a hell of aLOT more than that in order to maintain a relationship.
