I’m talking to another military guy if this keeps happening, I’m going give up on finding men & I will be alone for the rest of my life.

Well you can't just assume every guy you talk to is your new boyfriend. LIke Idk you actually have to get to know someone before it can become a relationship. And well talking to a guy a few times on the internet does not make them your boyfriend...you have to like meet in person and meet physically and go from there.

Just seems like you keep getting in contact with people online thinking its real relationship, when it takes more than just a few chats online to get a relationship. LIke you have to actually meet the person at some point and stuff like that.

Don't worry. You will find someone. You haven't been using the apps very long since your breakup, and it takes time. Using dating sites can be disheartening, just keep at it. How much time do you spend on the dating sites? If you're like me, I get kind of obsessed over them. Try to limit your usage and set a schedule of when you can use it so that you keep your mind off of it.

I would say don't lose hope completely, just for the present. The person you end up with might create an account on OKCupid a year from now. Take a break and get back to it when you feel ready again.

You are right, I will take a break or half a break, I might stay on OkCupid, but I won’t go on the website tooo much. I really miss having a boyfriend & I’m MORE happier with a boyfriend. I have ALOT of stuff going on like alot of physical pain. I don’t know what to do.

I agree with sweetleaf that you can't assume every guy that chats with you as your new boyfriend acting like they are your boyfriend to soon can and usually will run the guy off.

I don’t like it when people think they know stuff about me when it not true. I don’t think every guy will be my boyfriend. I don’t know what sweetleaf post was about. My original post was about taking to another fake army again, it had nothing do to with thinking he my boyfriend. Why people keep doing this?

I apologize then I only want the best for you and yes those sites are full of cons and users unfortunately but I am proud of you for being able to see who the Cons are and not fall for it.

Did you try Ibuprofen? Or whatever that pain medication is called, in your country.
Generally, its always happier to have a relationship. But remember, we cant always get what we want. And things dont always go the way we want. Therefore, its important to also try to be happy when you're alone too.
Myself, being alone for a long time, have made me both a sad and a happy person at the same time.
I would say try finding someone who actually matches your preferences, to make sure things go right.

the internet and cell phones atomized society and trashed so many young people's prospects of meaningful dating when they realized that, instead of actually talking to someone, working problems out and strengthening the relationship in the process, they could just use the "block" feature on their cell phone to eliminate someone from their life in the blink of an eye - ghost - the instant the relationship goes south and then use an app to choose another poor soul from a selection the same way you would shop online for apartments.
