How do you know if a woman is looking at you and not someone behind you or next to you?

Right now, I could be at a wedding reception, the hottest single woman there could be looking at me and I wouldn’t think anything of it.

Approach her and ask her.

Easier said than done. For a lot of us. It's a miracle I ever got a date!

Of course ... but that does not make it impossible; but I guess some people may be so adverse to making any effort of their own that they expect everyone else to approach them instead.

:wall: :wall: :wall:
No...not impossible for some maybe. It's not that I was adverse to making any effort, quite the opposite. But when your body literally becomes catatonic and you're unable to speak, that makes it difficult, no? Fortunately for me I have been approached over the years, which was still hard but easier than being the approacher.

That seems more like a phobia; but one that can still be overcome.

So, how long have you been married?

Perhaps, if I was actually aware I had a problem at that time. I didn't get my diagnosis until very recently.

My wife and I have been together for 21 years at this point. And I had a previous marriage of about 4 years.

So the passive act worked for you.  Congratulations.

It's not an act for me either. I've literally never made the first move. But I have had a surprisingly full romantic/sexual life.

I use to make them come to me as well. I have asked women at receptions for dances. One that was old enough for me was in a relationship. I got to peck her hand as a thanks. She gave me permission.
