I asked someone out for coffee and cake, and they accepted!
I don't know what to do.
I am so nervous I'm not sure I can go ahead with it.

Please,
I need advice.

This post is a spoof, I.E. a joke. But please go along with it if you want.

Yes,
This Saturday.

What do you think I should wear?
It is only coffee, so something casual, I guess.
But what type of casual?

You should wear white linen pants and a polo shirt with an alligator on it.

Since pizza is casual food, does it stand to reason it would also be acceptable casual attire?

Things may not even get to my considering what I am going to wear.
Have a look at this post and watch/listen to the podcast: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=389987&p=8612380#p8612363

I refuse to give in to cynicism.

With the linen pants, you would look swell in a Panama hat. You’d be a hit with discerning, literary ladies.

Maybe I am letting my imagination run away with me.
Does anyone know how I can do a police check on a person?

It was creepy.....but it ain’t gonna stop me from living.

The person who proposed 11 AM is one with good values.

Well, this is a fine "how do you do". <sigh>
First time I get a chance to score, errr, I mean have a date and that post pops up.
It sort of rattled me bigtime.

Do you think my "handlers" are trying to tell me something?
Do you think it is a legitimate warning, or are they just messing with me? :(

It probably doesn't happen that often, but we should all very cautious when meeting up with strangers.
